At 58, I 'own' my first dog. It's the same breed (Shibu Inu) as in the photo. Given to me because of her inability to 'get along' with larger dogs, she looks like the fox that was taking all the chickens last year. That keeps the cats and chickens in line at this point. Being able to go through a 5x5 livestock fence almost without slowing down, it's a smaller dog than I was expecting. But still big enough for a stray paw to make you rethink wanting a dog on your lap.
A mother's love, a puppy's fat belly. Life is good.

ReplyDeleteHow come my mornings are never this good?
ReplyDeleteYou have yet to pay your dues.
DeletePup appears to be dreaming about nursing on momma.
ReplyDeletePerhaps that's why she's got him pinned down. A gal's nibbles get sore from those tiny shark's teeth.
DeleteThat's so cute
ReplyDeleteDreaming about breakfast. I do that a lot, but not so cute.
