I have questions

Officials in South Carolina said a man found human remains while hiking. However, instead of notifying police immediately, he brought the bones to a Goodwill store.

The coroner said a man was hiking in the woods and found the bones around 10 p.m.

Who the fuck goes hiking in the woods after dark? What would they expect to see? Why did he disturb the scene by removing the bones? And finally, Goodwill?

  1. Also, abuse of a corpse. Maybe it's not a crime in S.C., but it is in the state I live in and they'll add it to the list of charges in a case like that.

  2. Goodwill is a bit perplexing. Maybe taking the bones to those weird fucks in NYC that have that oddities shop, "Obscura", that had a TV show on one of the Discovery channels about a decade ago.

  3. Sure, Why not? Michael Jackson bought John Merrick's remains! " ooh them crazy elephant bones"
And Goodwill will take in pretty much anything to make a buck.

  5. Dunno, man. I would TOTALLY buy a human skull I found on the shelf between the mismatched china at Goodwill. Imagine the fun...

  6. Kinda misleading headline. It's not like he dropped them off at a Goodwill. He got a box there to put them in and take to the police.

  7. So he carry's the bones to Goodwill, finds a box there, then takes the box o' bones to the police. Dude seems a bit underdeveloped in the cranial region.

  9. I hate to say, but I too go walking at night, trail or woods, have for years. Enjoy the quietness and I get to practice my quiet walk... Nobody out there more dangerous than me I figure, and I carry to keep the local wildlife's away.

  10. Some of us can see better than others at low light levels. I've setup camp in the woods at night (without a light) just to practice.

That said, he should've let the bones be and reported their location.

  11. I walk the woods at night around here quite often. It helps maintain an important skill set. No answer to the other questions though.

  13. All you have to do is take it home. Go buy small screw eyelets and wire. Attach all the parts back together, hopefully in the right places, and claim it is a medical specimen you bought at a garage sale.

  14. So you've never been to an Owl outing. Best time to see owls is at night.
