Woodward Reservoir is on the eastern side of the county, maybe 10 miles NE of where I used to live. It's a small reservoir as far as California lakes go, maybe 2 miles long by 2 miles across, with campgrounds all around it.
It's been a party spot for our little brown brothers for years and years, and I'm not talking about your average Mexican working class families, but straight-up Norteno gang types. You can go out during the week and it's a nice quiet fishing spot with hardly anybody out there, but during the weekend it's wall to wall Mexicans with every car blasting that horrible carnival music.
