An inmate used a gun to kill a kitchen worker at a Georgia prison early Sunday before fatally shooting himself, state officials said.
The Georgia Department of Corrections in a statement said it’s investigating the deaths at Smith State Prison in rural southeast Georgia. The agency provided few immediate details, including how the inmate obtained a firearm.
Maybe he carved the gun out of a bar of soap. However, since the kitchen worker was a babe and Jaydrekus Hart is a dude it appears to be a clear case of either bad food poisoning caused by under cooking the pork chops or a case of Romeo & Juillet style unrequited love.
Same thing happened in Fulton County Jail in Atlanta years ago. That led to a big investigation. A guard had a drug debt on the outside so he brought the gun in for that one.
Smith State Prison is right up the road. Drones are used to drop contraband into prison yard.
