#3 - if you're that old, then you know that the rifles hung in the rack upside down. Jeez. I'm THAT old. Plus I made my own rack in high school shop class.
Me too, made also in 7th grade woodshop. It held my Ithaca model 49, my Dad's Mossberg .22, my Daisy 1849, my Crosman 760. Two pegs at the bottom for my York recurve bow, and a dozen arrows were stowed vertically behind the rifles. The rack was hung on the wall opposite the foot of my bed. It was the last thing I saw before going to sleep, first thing when I woke up. Good times!
#12 What is strange is seeing a Christmas Hallmark with Nikki DeLoach in the land of snow. She looks just like her mother. Nikki grew up in Georgia, 45 miles from the Florida state line and 45 miles from the GA coastline where it almost never snows.
I saw a snow sleigh on wheels being filmed south of Atlanta a few years ago. I guess they were going to add the snow in later. It wasn't even cold enough outside for the coat the driver was wearing.
After each of them telling everyone else in the room that they are vegan what are they going to talk about? Then the farting starts. Like a Blazing Saddles chow time re-enactment. At some point the groom realises what he has got into and tries to stab himself with a stick of celery.
Yeah, I'm that old. Got my rack as a gift in the early 70's, only mine does not have the storage at the bottom. Now I'm in my 70's and am looking at it on my wall as I type this. Only rifle I have up there for display is my T/C 50cal Hawken.

DeleteI’m 74 and I never saw rifles racked upside down and we had lots of guns when I was a lad. Still do.

DeleteThe only rifles that I hang upside down are my lever actions...don't know why, don't care, I just like the way they look...
DeleteYea I’m that old and I believe it was 7th grade shop that I got to build it, seems like I had to pay 5$ for the wood, fasteners.

ReplyDeleteAuto-fill is about to bring up pornhub.com.
DeleteIt took me a second to catch it. What would Windows auto fill the rest of an address of www.p... on a teenage boys computer?
