Violent crime rate down in Tennessee, still 1.6x higher than national average, FBI says
Tennessee’s violent crime rate has been dropping slightly since 2020, according to the most recent data available from the FBI, but the Volunteer state’s violent crime rate is still 1.6 times higher than the national average.

DeleteAnd a LOT of big cities are no longer tracking and reporting their crimes to the FBI databases. I won't even hazard a guess what the FBI is doing to the data before issuing their reports.
ReplyDeleteYep. I've also seen it where the police reports change all the races of the subject to white. I wouldn't believe anything the FBI says anyway.

"Vibrant Urban" areas all across the country did not report in their statistics...so, OF COURSE the numbers will go down. And, yes, Sammy is correct that there are many cases where nonWhites are classified as "White" to diversify the crime numbers...
Yeah crime is up an down and all over the place and reports on the crime rate will differ depending on who is doing the numbers
ReplyDeleteSame story here, NoLa, Baton Rouge said Shreveport have 80% of the violent crime but the state gets a bad rap...... Governor Landry set up a state police station in NoLa and they are racking up on car thieves and of course the constantly offended are complaining about it...

ReplyDeleteGot it in one. Memphis is 90% black. Go to K-town, Chat, or any small ville in the boonies where the black population is under 10% and the crime rate is negligible.
DeleteThe black population of Lafayette TN is 0.6% according to city-data.com and we have almost no violent crime.
DeleteYeah, we had our first murder in 20 years in my little town north of you. It was them again. They keep building cheap apartments and it's getting diverse here. Guess I need to move out again.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I dislike joggers some are pretty good people. Had a friend go to way south in Louisiana and it was about 50% black city. He said they were friendly and helpful. He had got lost at one point in dark town. But didn't have a problem. Yeah - I know - so let's not judge everybody based on azzholes. And yes - I do not trust most blacks. Hell I don't trust most whites or mexicans either. I'm a picky bastard. I've had 3 close friends that were black.
