Well, that's an ominous sign

  1. Every time they circle over the farm I tell the wife that they are waiting for me... If I ever come across a small plastic one I'm planning on putting it on the headboard by my side of the bed and see how soon she notices.

  6. I've got a picture of a couple setting on the neighbor's roof, taken January 1st, 2020. Turns out they knew what was coming.

  8. It actually is an ominous sign. Vultures are attracted to a chemical called mercaptan. It's released from rotting corpses and helps them find food.

The funny thing is, mercaptan is the chemical added to natural gas to give it it's smell to warn of a leak.

Out west, gas companies sometimes use the sight of lots of vultures to detect leaks.
