Batteries Needed for Green Transition Are ‘Unrecognized’ Source of Pollution, Study Finds
The lithium-ion batteries that are essential to the green energy transition are an “unrecognized and potentially growing” source of chemical pollution, according to a new study published in Nature.
The current EV, PV solar and battery tech was rushed to market so a bunch of already rich assholes could get a little richer on the taxpayer dime.
Same story with thermal solar and large scale wind but they are even worse because neither made sense even in theory and should never have made it to market at all.
The materials and methods of the current technology from sourcing to end of life recycling are just a vapor trail of environmental and humanitarian disasters with zero chance of generating the energy expended to create, install, maintain and ultimately, dispose of them.
I'll tell ya what this means, Herb. Another income stream as we tax the emissions.
ReplyDeleteAnd the solar panels which have loads of toxic crap in them and the waste of resources that are needed to build windmills are another problem.
ReplyDeleteIf it does not fit the greeny's agenda, it is ignored. It the media is told to ignore it, then they ignore it.
