    Back in the 80s my jewelry making brother would cast those coffee spoons in 14kt gold or silver & a few in brass. We made a fortune. Still have a couple we made & a 1/2 box of plastic one's.

    Broke the frame of my parents bed in the early 70's although not quite that bad or visible. Araldite and screws from Dad's well equipped workshop fixed it before they came home the next day and they never noticed. Close call though.
