There is no doubt that the events of Saturday, July 13, 2024, were monumental by virtue of how close we came to the course of our history being altered for the worst. 1. We live in hope, but hope is merely an instant gratification, emotional reacting delusion. When (if) Trump is elected and sworn in January 2025 he's got 4 years to swim uphill against the Deep State tide. We all saw it the first time around and I don't expect it to be much different in round 2. Then it’ll be back to politicians and big industry lobbyists business. But don’t fret as long as we have our bread and circuses distractions the sun will continue to rise in the east and set in the west. Pro football will begin in September and end with the Super Bowl. College basketball start with the fall semester and end with March madness. Ford will still be hawking $70,000 F-150s, Dodge will still be selling similar priced RAMs and Chevy their Silverados. Amazon will be delivering “stuff” and Apple iPhones. So sleep securely since all will be right with the world.
