Commentary: Trump Supporters Must Avoid Overconfidence

The assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has led his supporters and some, though not all, of his opponents to acquire a greater perspective on the most important things in life. It has also led his supporters to a broader recognition what is not necessarily important in the present campaign. This is a healthy development for the Republican Party and the Make America Great Again movement. Mr. Trump continues to lead and is, again, its presidential standard bearer. Yet, if not properly channeled, the ensuing enthusiasm can engender overconfidence among the campaign and its supporters.

  1. The Democrats are well organized and due to a neurotic, obsessed culture their mindset makes them totally committed to destroying the Republicans despite their presidential candidate and the fact many of them know their policies are a pathetic sham. Because "racism" has been pounded indelibly in their brains Camel Toe will get those women's and black's votes that may have been drifting toward Trump when Biden was in the running. Add ballot stuffing to the mix and the fact Republican politicians are “play fair, reach across the aisle” Deep staters it’s not going to be a Trump landslide lots of folks are expecting.

    1. The fix is strong now that camel toe can stress the abortion issue. She may even admit to a few of them.

  3. I guess I'll have to get a bottle of ketchup and eat all my predictions that Biden would win.

  4. Excellent point and article! Far too often, voters think an election is "in the bag" and "they won't need my one vote!" Every vote is needed if the last 4 yrs of bull$%&t is to be turned around as well as keeping an eye on the demonrats and their ballot stuffing!

  6. I have no confidence at all that Trump will win. Hell, after last week, I’m not sure he’ll be alive.

  7. IMHO, the fix is in. The only way Trump will win is if a few states that are deep blue (where they don't think they have to pay attention) flip red. And that's only if enough people in those states can add 2+2 and get "I've been lied to about everything", which given how many of them STILL trust the media, is very unlikely.

Hell, last I checked my mother-in-law still trusts NPR.

So yeah, not happening. Best outcome? Enough fraud gets exposed that the entire election is ruled a re-do, and the courts actually insist on same day in person voting. But I'm not holding my breath.

Just like the last one, and the one before that, and the six before that…

  9. Remember 2020; what's changed other than the opposing actor? No matter which actor sits in the w.h. come Jan. 20, 2025; we're gonna see the other side lose their collective ka-ka in the extreme.

    1. Nah. Conservatives believe in the system, live comfy lives, and are fundamentally cowards. They won't riot. They might practice at the range a time or two. They might say threatening and stupid things over a beer. But, in the end, they'll do nothing.

  10. Expect three or more attempts on his life. For those who don't know, the Cheeto Ho has lots of ties to Darth Cheney and the lizard.

  11. The Democrats were so over confident in 16 that they never activated the vote printing machinery. Hopefully, our bloc remembers that lesson and doesn't decide to sleep in because "Trump has it locked up, he doesn't need my vote".

  12. The vote counters win, not the voters.

  13. Nobody got around to fixing the steal of 2020, so nobody should be shocked when it happens again.

    1. This right here is the key comment! Yes vote early so they know how many ballots to fabricate!
