Conservative-backed group is creating a list of federal workers it suspects could resist Trump plans

WASHINGTON (AP) — From his home office in small-town Kentucky, a seasoned political operative is quietly investigating scores of federal employees suspected of being hostile to the policies of Republican Donald Trump, a highly unusual and potentially chilling effort that dovetails with broader conservative preparations for a new White House.

Tom Jones and his American Accountability Foundation are digging into the backgrounds, social media posts and commentary of key high-ranking government employees, starting with the Department of Homeland Security. They’re relying in part on tips from his network of conservative contacts, including workers. In a move that alarms some, they’re preparing to publish the findings online.

  1. Just fire EVERYONE to be safe. Then, to keep everyone safe, NEVER hire anyone to replace them. Win-win for all.

  2. Good, when Trump is elected he needs to FIRE every last one of them, no severance nothing, don't even let them get their belongings have security escort them out immediately. Film the entire thing, FUCK THEM ALL.

  3. Starker here,
AAF it's more like AFT, About F'n Time! I never understood why W didn't clean house when he came into office. With Trump, I understood a business sense & that you leave people in position until they prove they aren't or can't do the job. But this is Politics, dammit! We're going to have to offend somebody! To paraphrase.

  6. What if you're some poor slob that only wants to keep his job and will never badmouth a liberal while working under a democrat boss? I'm not talking about an executive level guy, just a worker bee. A guy that goes along to get along (and not get fired in this economy!).

    2. Fuck him. There are consequences for putting your paycheck above your beliefs. One of those consequences is that nobody cares about your beliefs, because they are for sale.

Take the kings money, and you're the kings man.

  9. Why is it never a news story when MSM, Microsoft, Google, Tik Tok, Twitter and the rest do the same thing about people from the Right?

  10. The civil service act basically prevents the incoming president from cleaning house and hiring their own people. Okay, supposed to prevent. Obama found an end run around it. It help him that most government employees are un-American lefties.

From my observation, about 15% of government employees are true believers that want the power to shape the world. 50% are average Joe's that are afraid of making it in "the real world." The rest are incompetent and wouldn't make it in the commercia world.

  11. Publicly naming government workers is an “intimidation tactic to try to chill the work of these civil servants,” she said, and part of a broader “retribution agenda” underway this election.

That is a scary statement right there
