8. Sucks to be you. I had some a-hole on a bicycle blow a stop sign and if I hadn't been paying attention I would've punted him into the woods with my SUV
I lost count of how many dashcam videos I've seen of bicyclists, e-bike, or e-scooter riders doing dumb stuff in traffic and getting hit by a car or truck. Too many of them choose to ignore that they have to follow traffic laws, too.
Unfortunately, more & more bike laws favor the bicyclists- some towns here have created 3 ft wide bike lanes on the shoulder, and posted signs saying "Please give bike riders 4 ft of clearance" which would mean your vehicle must cross over into oncoming traffic to comply- ?? Bicycle riders should be allowed to ride with ,motor vehicles only at their own risk- if they want protection, they should be required to purchase insurance.
Fuck 'em. They pay no fuel tax, no license and registration, no excise taxes on their tires. They don't deserve any part of the roads I paid for. I've been accused of having an attitude.
I agree, Dave. What kind of fool would ride a bike as if they were a car? Almost killed a biker because I did not look behind me when making a right turn - idiot passed me on the right at speed - but he was in his bike lane!
#3 I've seen something similar at our town's docks.
Of course the mistake the driver of the pickup made in this case was that he/she pulled forward way too quickly. Inertia was going to work against the person trying to keep that 3000+ pound boat on the trailer. Heck, they could have used a cargo strap or two to secure the bow to the trailer. (I didn't see a winch on the trailer, but the person's body may have blocked any view of it.)
#3, back to the drawing board.. #6, I wonder if they got the picture? #8, dipshit bicyclist... #9 was unexpected, I figured the forklift was going to go over the side!
Something funky about this... Perhaps the sealant that they use when building cars was holding extra tight. I've used a glass suction cup to accomplish this task. There is no way a bunch of glue sticks can pull a fender off if the bolts are there.
#2- I had a friend who had a small business that used Gorilla Glue to hold some things like that fender on, instead of using all of the bolts. No doubt that same thing would happen if someone tried to fix a bumper like that. The funny thing is that he had a contract for some new car dealers. You wouldn't believe the number of new cars that come into a dealer with scratches and dents, just from the delivery.
With all due respect, did your uncle ever figure out that it might be a good idea to keep his asshole horse away from fences, or was he as stubborn as his asshole hose was?
