LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN/Gray News) - A 17-year-old boy is charged with tampering with a train rail and then filming the train derailment.
According to the complaint, the Omaha Public Power District and BNSF Railway as the two entities who suffered damages in the case.

Yep. This is exactly the kind of situation where public flogging is an effective deterrent. Haul him out to the town square and give him ten of the best. HE won't do this again, and his buddies will get the message. While he's a minor and his parents are responsible for him, at 17 parents really have very little control. If you take him to adult court, they're off the hook. I'd pass on trying to sue them- but have no problem burdening HIM with a bill. And by all means, video and publish the flogging on social media.
