    1. You’re damn right.

      I’ve been able to raise and have just about any animal you can imagine; Even worked in a pet/feed/garden store during college after growing up with all the animals.

      There is just something different with dogs and horses. It’s why people love them so much…..because dogs and horses love you back.

      Not saying cats, calves, lambs, kids (goats), some birds, pigs, don’t like their owners, but anyone who has been around would be lying if they said it was ever the same as puppies and ponies. It’s just different.

  5. They are not the same as dogs.

    Working in hospitals for almost 40 years this scares me. I have seen so many little ones injured, and some killed by horses.

    3. Just like there are some dogs you know you can trust with kids, there are also horses that are the same way.
      The way the horse is calmly nuzzling the kids head tells me this is one of those horses.
