Some thieves know a distraction helps cover their nefarious activity
ReplyDeleteOkay, dude's stealing a trailer,, in my mind, I figured it was the office trailer. Nope,, Turns out the trailer he had in mind was loaded with $240,000.00 worth of front end loader,, which makes me think he really didn't want the trailer at all..
ReplyDeleteBut if it's a good enough trailer to haul that much loader, it's probably worth the ten grand it takes to round out the haul to a smooove quarter mil...
He looks white enough to go to jail for a while.
I lost trailers over the years in my construction. None were ever found, nor any equipment on the trailer. In my neck of the woods, they go straight to Mexico. To me, catching a thief of that kind requires a neck stretching party at the nearest tree.
ReplyDeleteBack in the 70s I worked for a CAT dealer and even back then there was a problem with heavy equipment being stolen and taken to Mexico.
