Jack Daniel's parent company scrapping DEI goals, will tie incentives to 'performance'

The parent company of Jack Daniel’s announced it is ending its diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) goals.

  1. Every company that Robby exposed said the same: "We'll roll it back."
    Not true.
They'll go back in the closet until nobody's paying attention, then they'll creep it back out.
I work at one of those companies.
Still have a dei page on the company website.

    1. Indeed. They're sticking a toe in the water, if it is still too cold they'll turn up the heat and come back later. Be a shame if the pool was filled with battery acid in the meantime...

  2. Until they announce that they will be doing away with the DEI appointments made I will abstain from drinking Jack Daniels.

    1. Evan Williams is a good substitute and a lot less expensive. Also, there are many sour mash whiskeys, many real Bourbons, out there that are more flavorful and better priced.

  3. Maybe it's just me but I have no interest doing business with a company that I know was involved with the didn't earn it bullshit.

At least they spelled the name correctly. His last name was Daniel, not Daniels.

  7. Several company's are biting their nose off spite their face....then come back and no we're not going to participate blah blah blah.....you did it in the first place so now I personally don't want nothing to do with those that betrayed us. JUDAS

  8. When JD chose the rainbow shit over their actual customer base, they proved they have no regard for loyalty. There are plenty of good people working at JD, and I pray they are going to other jobs because I sincerely hope that company dies a slow economically painful death.

  9. I stopped drinking Jack when they started sponsoring and promoting faggotry and pedophilia events. Since this was prior to their "DEI" promotion, I totally missed the fanfare. JD is dead to me.

Beats me why these companies can't just do their job, make their product and shut the fuck up.

  10. Brown-Foreman is huge. Their brands include several faves of mine: Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, and Glendronach. Jack Daniels is gross, but I gotta have muh 'Dronach 15Yr.

  11. If you don't boycott them back to the Stone Age you may as well butt chug Bud Light with Kid Rock and Mulvaney.

  12. Here is "food" for thought who eats Hershey, heinz and all the rest of the stuff that these companies put mandates on shots ? And employees losing jobs oh what a short memory we have and yes it all plays into the same message. Don't support it!

  13. I found out that I’m allergic to alcohol but it took several years. Had I been limited to this stump water, I’d have stopped long before I did. Nasty. Wild Turkey 101 was my favorite but like I said, I’m allergic.
