U.S. Judge blocks Biden administration from granting legal status to immigrant spouses of U.S. citizens
A federal judge in Texas on Monday temporarily blocked the Biden administration from granting legal status to unauthorized immigrants married to American citizens, granting a request from 16 Republican-led states who challenged the new policy.

Given that I know I guy who spent $70K+ getting his LEGAL immigrant wife a green card, this seems both reasonable and totally stupid.
ReplyDeleteIf you're married, it shouldn't be that hard nor that expensive. More to the point, it should be more difficult/expensive if your spouse came into the country illegally than if they came in legally.
Currently, from what I hear, that's not the case. It's cheaper, quicker, and easier to get a green card if you're in the country illegal than if you did things the right way. That's just straight up insane. And stupid. Which I guess is what we should expect from our government.

ReplyDeleteHe would have to be aware of the decision in order to ignore it. His handlers/puppet-masters are the ones ignoring it. Delirious Joe is too busy soaking up the sunscreen at Rehoboth Beach, having another Weekend at Bernie's....err, Biden's.
