Commentary: Kamala Harris’ War on Housing

As Kamala Harris campaigns to become the most powerful person in the world, her detractors claim, among other things, that she has no idea how to manage the economy. She has certainly demonstrated that with her recent pronouncements. Even her usual supporters have been critical of her economic policy suggestions. Price controls on groceries. $25,000 grants for first-time homebuyers. A tax on unrealized capital gains. But while Harris backpedals from some of her most economically illiterate schemes, it’s only to attract more votes. Don’t be fooled. She hasn’t changed.

  1. If conservatives (and particularly MAGA conservatives) were as radical, extreme and dangerous as Ms. Semen Sucker and the whole leftist commies claim, she would've gotten the Trump treatment a long time ago.
Goes to show which side really is radical, extreme and dangerous, don't it.

  4. Starting from a false premise. The government should not "control the economy."

    1. The Gov has always controlled the economy, just not as overtly as now. Tax what you want less of and subsidize what you want more of.

  5. Can someone explain how Harris is not our POTUS now? If the Dems think she is that fabulous, why haven't they 25th'd Biden? Are they going to to switch Harris out at the last minute for someone else? Are they afraid Biden will "tell all" when he has a lucid moment if they ditch him now? Was that his concession to letting the ho run for 47?

  6. Democracy is at war with America, and we are paying their bills to do so.

  7. Remember this as well: Even the majority of those Democrats unhappy with her proposals will still vote for her. Being a Democrat is not a conviction; it's a fanaticism -- a cult.

  9. They've forgotten the lessons of 2008 about what happens when you push home ownership on people who aren't prepared to make their effing payments.
