  2. Never been there but from what I gather it's a melted candy bar in a cup. I get whole bean from a company in Va. Grind my own and use a French Press. I like a good strong black cuppa Joe.

    1. I've had starbucks coffee twice in my life, both while out of town and they were close to my hotel..... I guess it's better than no coffee but not by much

  3. Speaking of Starbucks, The job as a Barista must be really exciting serving up over priced coffee to snotty assholes

  4. I saw a oughnuts delivery truck that had the "h' blocked out. "doug nuts" . I got a laugh out of that since that is my first name. Whole new perspective on doughnut holes.

  5. Starbucks serves two blends of coffee. First, extremely over-roasted, acidic, and bitter "PikesSomething" blend. Absolute poison if you don't cut it 50% with milk, sugar, pumpkin spice, etc. Don't even think about drinking it black. Like Bright Eyes said, the blend is used to make candy bars in a cup. Second, the "Blonde" roast is very passable staight (when hot and fresh). And which blend does your local Starbucks never have? The "Blonde" roast. Which blend is extremely over-priced? Trick question. Any of them.

If you want decent coffee, make it yourself. In an emergency, local Mom-N-Pop gas stations often have decent pots and don't rip off their neighbors. I get 20oz "refills" at my local gas station for $1 that are much better than anything from Starbucks.

    1. Yep. Gas station coffee in Utah is far better - and cheaper - than that drained oil stuff they serve at S/ucks. I don't go to coffee shops for liquid candy bars.

  6. You know a dissatisfied customer spent hours putting that logo "just that way" on the van.
