Two hunters who shot 530-pound grizzly 24 times share their stunning story of survival

Dangling from the jaws of a 530-pound grizzly, 20-year-old Riley Hill’s body flung from side-to-side as his hunting buddy Braxton Meyers fired round after round into the bear’s hulking frame. The grizzly’s ferocious teeth sunk deep into his arm, puncturing the skin to the bone, as he screamed and fought back during the longest 30 seconds of his life.

    Lucky to live through that. Taurus has some problems that way. Especially if you are not holding it right.

    Bow hunting Elk. Pistol carry as backup, reasonable (though many states forbid firearms with bow) 6-.44's, 8- .45's, 6-.357's, 15-9mm... take your pick... choose wisely. I know what I carry, and the reasons, and potential targets...everyone is different.
