‘Chaos’ – MA Gov. Healey Inks ‘Emergency’ Enactment of New Gun Law

When Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey signed an emergency enactment of the state’s new gun control law, she was trying to head off a petition drive that would have derailed the new restrictions at least until 2026, according to a report at Mass.live.

    1. Women as a species are socialist... The only freedoms they care about specifically benefit them, abortion and divorce laws, otherwise it's all about safety and security..

  3. "Emergency" The only emergency is in that twatwaddles pants.
My local gun store here has very little than pump shotguns and lever guns on the shelf. Most gun stores will not survive the years of court challenges it will take to overturn this patently unconstitutional bill.
NJ had something similar, it took five years.

  4. They should not be allowed to use "emergency powers" to enact laws that are not true emergencies other than the people might want a say. But then it would be up to the fox to change the rules in the hen house. Pox on both parties for this shit.

  5. Another waste of money since the Commonwealth will lose at the SCOTUS level. Massholes doing what massholes do.

    1. If they can do it and get away with it for months or years at a time before Supreme Court strikes it down, then what good is the Supreme Court

    2. The Supreme Court can't just hear about something being done and wave their magic wand and make them quit. Cases have to be prepared and then scheduled on their calender.
The real question is what good is the Supreme Court when they do hear a case and issue a ruling only to have the State(s) just ignore it and do what they want anyway?
