I had that thing workout directly over me in 69. Looked like volkswagons going through the air and you could hear them most lima charles, loud and clear. A whooshing noise. I was on the side of Charle Ridge and they were working out up in the mountains. Kerboom. Is whooshing even a word? I'm sure if it isn't the ex-wife will point it out. The rest of you will know what I'm saying and that's all that matters.
Legend has it that during the battle on when D-Day US and UK battleships were firing support a British soldier on the beach watched several 15/16-inch rounds pass overhead, looked at his CO, and said, "Blimey, sir! They're firin' JEEPS!"
Some hot, rough duty ! Thanks for posting.
