A country singer had to interrupt his own concert after his wife went into labor with their third child, seemingly on the tour bus.
Shortly after starting his concert Friday night, Brantley Gilbert was called away for “an emergency backstage,” according to a video posted to the “Bottoms Up” singer’s social media pages. The video shows him leaving the venue.
That's a nice story, but they never said whether it was boy or a girl, did they?
ReplyDeletecountry my ass. rock and roll, hip hop and loud electronic noise to cover up basic lack of talent
ReplyDeleteI had no desire to look him up when I first saw the story and even less now.
DeleteB. Gilbert is not, in my opinion, a country singer... He's a pop/bubblegum singer like Aldean and many more Nashville "country" stars.... It is nice that he did like most every other husband and went with his wife to deliver their child..

I've never heard of the guy.

What happened to the “The Show Must Go On “ work ethic?
ReplyDeletePop rock with a faux Southern accent is not 'Country'. Change my mind.
ReplyDelete" faux Southern accent"
DeleteTell me you don't know where he grew up, without telling me you don't know where he grew up. Where he was raised they have to pipe in sunlight.
I've met him in real life, both before and after he hit it big. Good friend of mine grew up with him. Nice guy not some obnoxious "I'm a big star" sort, will sit on the back porch and have a beer and a burger with ya. Yeah, I'm not a fan of his music but I'll give him credit for milking that cow for all he can. Beats hell out of working in the chicken plant near where he grew up.
