Sounds like a freaking conspiracy to me

A hippo recently gave zoo visitors an unexpected and horrifying surprise by splashing them with its watery excrement at Surabaya Zoo in Indonesia.

A video capturing the shocking moment was posted on TikTok earlier this week by user @apriliaanandaa.

SAN ANTONIO - It's something everyone does, but a local audience got a bit more than they expected.

Last week, a video was uploaded to TikTok, showing an Orca, also known as the killer whale, defecating in one of the glass-holding pools at the Orca Encounter Presentation at Sea World San Antonio.

But, just when you think that's all to see, the massive animal loops back around, and splashes the nearby audience with the freshly soiled water.

Then the skunks take it to a whole 'nother level:

A skunk that bit a Sacramento Zoo visitor may have had rabies, leading officials to capture and euthanize multiple other skunks in the area.

  1. Awhile ago, I sent my daughter the meme of the hippo pulling the pony cart, with the caption about there being signs if I won the lottery. She advised that not only are they ill tempered, they use their tails to fan feces all over their surroundings. (She was a zookeeper)

    1. I think hippos kill more people in Africa than just about any other animal there. Or maybe it's just large or dangerous game (bees or mosquitoes might technically get the win). But I don't want to be anywhere near the things.
And tail fanning the feces is true, at least for the few videos I saw on YouTube.

  2. Hippos are an important part of the river ecosystem. They graze on land at night and then go spread a bunch of nutrients in the water by spinning their tail around while the defecate. These stories make me wonder if people have any idea how nature works. The Orca story is actually funny. Look at it from the whales point of view.
