Times have changed since I was in high school

SAN RAMON, Calif. (KGO) -- It's not what happened at the actual Homecoming Dance at California High School in San Ramon, it's what happened in the parking lot during that dance that is raising eyebrows.

An assistant principal was attacked by a 16-year-old visiting student who according to San Ramon police, dragged her by the hair from one spot in the lot to another.

  1. Caving to the little feral assholes by liberal who need to "feel good about empowering turds" is bound to result in heavy-duty payback. One of the first indications that the elementary & High schools were going in the wrong way was when they dropped “school ground” and substituted “campus”. Little things like that are an indication the country’s education system going to shit and that's going to cause a total collapse of America.

  2. "It's alarming to see that our students would respond to authority figures in that way," That behavior is learned behavior.

  6. Okay, I'll say it. When they took God and the paddle out of schools, that's when it all started to really go down hill. I had teachers in the 60's and 70's, elementary and high school, that would have a big-ass paddle leaning in a corner up front for all to see. We also said the pledge of allegiance and had a minute of silence to pray. A lot of times prayer and those paddles went hand in hand! "Dear lord, please don't let me get my ass beat!"

  7. Female asst principle. That was the first screw-up. The second was approaching without backup, thinking you was the baddest in the parking lot.

    1. Female asst. principal? Asst. Principak Gloria DeFabio had everyone in my high school scared of her. She was a bitch and used the paddle harder than even the PE coach/2nd asst. principal. She, all 5' of her, would yank football players out of their chairs and drag them to her office.

    2. Beans, that was only because they not only feared the school punishment, but that of their parents and they still had some respect for authority. These kids today, especially the feral ones have no respect for anything, including themselves and have no fear of the modern version of "authority".

  8. Government schools were circling the drain in the early 2000’s.. A little thing like the iPhone was the beginning of the end. COVID was the coup de grace.. I retired from the profession in 2022. They weren’t just graduating illiterate assholes that were glad to tell you what a shit country this is - most of them couldn’t read cursive or determine the time on a CLOCK.

  10. I spent a fair amount of time in the principal's office back when (elementary school). The principal was a WWII vet; daddy was a Korea War vet. Neither believed me very often; I became very familiar with the Board of Education. Too late to teach the little bastards by the time they reach puberty.

    1. Sadly, it exists, but only in your imagination. Enjoy it before the Thought Police find out about you.
