We're not gonna make it, are we? The human race, I mean...

A top Oregon state official has been put on administrative leave after a pink-haired, DEI-obsessed subordinate complained he was making hiring decisions based on qualifications instead of personal identity considerations, according to a report.

Mike Shaw, who until recently served as the Oregon Department of Forestry’s second-in-command, was put on blast by Megan Donecker, the department’s former DEI strategy officer, for looking “beyond gender and identity in hiring, seeking only candidates most qualified for the job,” OregonLive reported.

  1. We are gonna make it just fine. The pink hairs, spider heads and their supporters, not so much.

    1. "Megan Marie Donecker in 2023 was employed at Department of Forestry and had an annual salary of $92,964 according to public records. This salary was 39 percent higher than the average and 52 percent higher than the median salary in Department of Forestry."

Unreal state jobs in Oregon seem to pay pretty good.

BTW, just so you know, the governor of Oregon is a radical lesbian.

    2. Elmo,
In Oregon, female homosexuals are known as 'female homosexuals'.
      We also call transvestites 'transvestites'.
      .
Instead of progressive liberals, we call communists 'BOLSHEVIKS', year-round season no-limit.

    4. Just out of curiosity, which one? There's only two in this thread and they're both extremely common.

  4. I know there are normal thinking people here from the west coast so this is not against them BUT I'm thankful every day that I live in a mostly free red state..
There's no way I would put up with the left coast bullshit..

  6. Diversity hires might be alright for some jobs , but not everywhere. Being a DEI hire as Head Burger Flipper at Wendy's is no big thing, how much damage could you do? But who do you want doing your open heart surgery ? The DEI hire that wants you to sacrifice a chicken and drink a glass of goat urine , Or , A Doctor of Cardiology who graduated top ten in his class ?

    1. My boss had the same level job in Washington state, so she got hired here.

I'm basically doing her job just so I have something to do, she knows basically nothing but procedure and blows around like a weathervane in direction.

At least she got gay-married last month.

  8. Oregon's not gonna make it. It's been one-party rule for too long - ever since we went to 100% mail in ballots, but that's just a coincidence.

The libs in the cities run everything.
2nd highest gas prices in the country.
Among the worst gun laws in the country.

On the ballot this year are two socialist measures, ranked choice voting and "tax the corporations to give every Oregonian $1600".

This is why the State of Jefferson and Greater Idaho movements are popular in all of rural Oregon.

  10. Most parts of OR west of the Cascades can make Califukinfornia look ... not as bad - though that's like comparing H to the whore. Portland's a shithole with a pretty covering. Salem's every bit as bad as Sacofpimentos but Gruesome hogs the spotlight.
