TAYLOR, Mich. – A doctor accused of being a major pill trafficker was arrested, and his mansion and clinic were raided on Tuesday.
Details
Police believe the doctor, whose identity has yet to be released, is a major trafficker of pills throughout Michigan and beyond.
Any more, "pill pusher" succinctly describes the medical profession.
ReplyDeleteThe new generation of doctors is different. My mom has a lot of chronic pain and getting ANYTHING from her doctor for pain relief is like pulling teeth. And stuff that will actually work? (that is to say, opioids) FORGET ABOUT IT.
ReplyDeleteNot that I'm complaining, knowing how things would end. I've explained to her a bunch of times now that any medication that actually worked would destroy her life. Thing is, she's getting the the point where she doesn't care.
There was a " doctor feel good" here back in the day. Jelly reds/
ReplyDeletegreens, qualudes, black mollies, valium all for the asking. Well you had to go to his office and get an " medical exam ". This week I want to lose weight, next I can't sleep, then I'm in terrible pain.. Back before computers nobody was watching and as long as you didn't always go to the same pharmacy you were good.. It did eventually catch up to him...

I remember when Valium was sold on the shelf next to the aspirin. Tylenol 222's in Canada was the same - on the shelf. It had codeine (similar to what used to be Tylenol 3 here in the States)
