Commentary: Barack Obama Is Perhaps Not the Political Genius He Tells Us He Is

Every few months, a sanitized report appears on the post-presidency activities of Barack Obama’s public advocacy. It’s a narrative that conveniently ignores the inherent problems in having a person with no constitutional role or congressional oversight take an active role in executive decision-making.

Over the summer of 2024, Obama emerged as a central figure in government censorship of the internet while launching a new campaign against gun ownership. In earlier times, the spectacle of an ex-president leading simultaneous campaigns against the First and Second Amendments might have generated some interest in the legacy media. But as last week’s election coverage proved, the press is no longer interested in reporting hard facts or maintaining transparency. The mockingbird media are now servants of those holding power and will do anything to advance their interests.

  2. Bambi was never a genius in the first place, political or otherwise. He was, is, and always will be a puppet dancing on the strings of his true masters.

  3. I'm waiting for Trump to put him and his crone Hitlery in jail. Failure to do that is not acceptable. He should have done it the first time. If he had, he wouldn't have been in the mess that he's been in for the last four years. The lawfare foisted on him is the result of his failure to act. Course it wasn't entirely his fault. He was advised that "you can't do that" by Jeff "the swamp rat" Sessions.

    1. Not going to happen, Nemo. Those 2 have been blatant and 2/3 of the country ignores it, business as usual. I cant visualize what they would have to do that the country would accept them getting put in prison. I'm not talking what you or I would accept.

  5. Barry's a Marxist homo who talks convincingly to millions of emotionally reacting, instant gratification assholes, but he's not the bottom-line strategist. That title is a combination of high level global "Dr. Strangelove style" Generals, admirals, politicians advised by a cabal of insane ideological academics with no moral compass.

  6. The founding fathers of this country spoke and wrote at a post-doctorate level.

Barry Soetoro, in contrast, speaks and writes at a 7th to 8th grade level of comprehension. Those are facts. And off-teleprompter, it's even worse.

    1. How dare you impugn the brilliance of Barack "I've been to 57 states" Obama.

And regarding Barry's 7th to 8th grade level of comprehension, have you ever read Michelle's Master's Degree thesis? Hers is a second or third grade level of comprehension.

  7. Zippy was always an errand boy, same as Brandon, same as Bucketmouth in the 70s, same as Willie. The masters were always the globalist crowd. People forget that, by the time he was done in DC, it had become an article of faith that, unlike Midas, Zippy had the touch of disaster.

PS Contrary with what the writers think, Willie coasted on the Reagan economy and defense. Fewer people than imagined saw his "charm" and his real accomplishments were the banking crash and setting us up for 9/11.

  8. "Not the Political Genius He Tells Us He Is":
Not a surprise to me. In 2008, I heard him talking about his position on Iran. This was back in the day when his speaking style included lots of pauses and interjections of "uh...", "uh...".

I remember my reaction to what I heard then to this day. I thought "This guy is not only an idiot, he's a dangerous idiot".

  10. Having loosing legislative majorities first in his midterms and then on his reelection doesn't strike me as political genius.

  11. I always saw him as a "race baiter" like AL or Jessie . liberals on the other hand thought he was going to "heal" all the wounds of time or some such bullshit.
and if the "magic screen" goes down, he fucked and talks like the moron he is.
but then again, there are a lot of them on the left like him. out of their depth in a parking lot puddle. think of the fool Kerry for one, and we all going to die Al Gore with "climate change". yeah, right. my dad used to call it weather and it changes all he time.
then again, thinking is not taught in schools anymore, it all about "feelings" whatever that bullshit is ? kind of funny when I point out to people that the clowns talking the most about climate change are buying breach front houses ? and the ones saying we need to get rid of our guns have armed guards around then 24/7 ?
as my MOM used to say, look past the hype and see the sad clown behind it for what they really are.
