A child is safe after warding off a potential kidnapper in Boulder, Colorado, last week.
According to police, the 11-year-old girl was walking to school on Oct. 28 when a man started following her on a bike. He soon caught up with her and grabbed her shoulder.

ReplyDeleteWhat concerns me is it happened on the 28th while she was on her way to school but didn't get reported until the 30th.
ReplyDeleteDid she tell anyone at school? Why the delay? I can understand a child being confused and hesitant to report it which may be the case. If mom or the school delayed, that ain't right.
My youngest, at 13, broke the nose of an asshat attempting to take her little sister (no relation to me). Taekwondo pays off again. I was told he actually bounced when he hit the pavement.

ReplyDeletePerhaps I am a bit naive, but I don't remember this sort of thing happening very often when I was young. Then again, I am 64, so that was a very long time ago, for me to try and remember. I am happy when I remember what I had for breakfast any time after noon.
