NEW YORK (TNND) — A New York man said he is trying to get his squirrel back after authorities seized the wild animal from his possession amid complaints.
An online petition was launched on Change.org forMark Longo, with supporters rallying to reunite him with his beloved pet,Peanut.
Longo claimed there were multiple anonymous complaints about Peanut -- also spelled P'Nut or PNUT -- with at least six officers from the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) raiding his home on Wednesday.

Let's be fair.
ReplyDeleteNew York, and many other states, likely have hundreds of well paid bureaucrats all looking for something to do to justify their existence.
They have to find something to show for at least once a year.
Give them a break!
Law enforcement in action.
ReplyDeleteA win for the tax feeders! Six of them to abduct Rocky? Frickin' jobsworths have ruined this country.
ReplyDeletesquirrels are tough little mother scrunchers, I would have brought at least 8 fish cops.
DeleteMark Longo should have claimed Peanut was a migrant from Venezuela and the authorities would have left him alone plus they’d have given him a free hotel room.
ReplyDeleteF#@kin' Karens! Always sticking their noses where they don't belong.
