One can roll all of the majority of grievances into one basic event, the government stepping on the snake. The famous Gadsden Flag of “Don’t Tread On Me,” a warning to the Brits to mind their own affairs, or they might get bitten, is a favorite of the patriots against the decades-long process of violating their rights. It’s a warning revived during the Tea Party days, now fifteen years hence. But they have been stepping on them.
What the US Government loves to do, is step on the snake; to grind it into the ground and since 1787, they have not been bitten. It’s our responsibility to future generations to retaliate for the injustices of our time. Each generation has a duty, as I see it, to deliver the nation to the next generation with a full compliment of rights and freedoms. In that endeavor, we have thus far failed, but a new day dawns.
I fly my Gaston Flag every Independence Day and whenever we have a federal election... I also flew my American Flag upside down for a week after the steal in 2020..

And you still spelled it wrong.
DeleteLast year, while camping in Gettysburg, of all places, I was told I had to remove my Gadsden flag that I display at my site. I was told that they didn't allow political flags in the campground. I told the Gestapo security guard that I wasn't removing it and that that flag predated the Stars and Stripes. I also told him that it almost was the state flag of South Carolina. He said that he'd get back to me. Before he left, I asked him about the travel trailer and car that was 50 feet from my site that was covered in BLM decals and paint. He didn't have an answer. Never saw him again.
ReplyDeleteA Gestapo security guard would have gone after the BLM stickers, since the raised fist is a straight communist signal.
DeleteThese folks are much more akin to the Cheka, NKVD or KGB than the Geatapo.
Seems unlikely anyone is going to fight back given the past decades of abuse with the total lack of response. Nobody's going to stick their neck out so long as the frig has food.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people point back to 1775 and talk about how they didn't take crap back then. And they say that nowadays Americans are a bunch of pussies. What people don't realize is that the colonist had been poked, prodded and provoked for more than 10 years before they took up arms. They didn't just one day decide we want to create a new .gov and country. They had reached their limit on April 19, 1775 and then things kicked off.
DeleteIt was a long slow process.
There are a lot of Americans nowadays that are not pussies. Don't step on snake.
Since before the French and Indian War in 1754. Going back to the days of the first English colonies in the early 1600s. England started screwing us from the beginning.

I slightly prefer the Libertarian flag. It has the same image but warns, “Don’t Tread on Anyone”
