An animal shelter in North Carolina is helping a senior dog who was found in a tragic situation.
Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville said that the dog, named Sugarplum, was discovered in a home where her family was found dead.

While I'd like to think the dog fed off of a nearly full bag of dogfood left in the mud porch, I do wonder where it was getting its water - it looks too small to reach the toilet.
Yup I think sugarplum went the Donner Pass route, but you gotta do what you gotta do. BTW, Brother Wolf is a great animal care organization.
ReplyDeleteMy wife's dad died in a penthouse in Connecticut. Took two weeks for someone to notice his fattened-up Corgi barking.
