I still have the Schwinn Stingray my father gave me brand new in 1968. We lived in rural North Dakota and I would peddle seven miles to baseball practice or a game and Dad would be able to pick me up afterwards for a ride home. All of my kids, nieces, and cousins have ridden that bike. Just put new tires on it couple of years ago. It is still festooned with all of the hippie stickers I could find at the local Woolworth store where my mom ran the lunch counter. Good memories and much better times.
