See what happens when you stay out all night?

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) - A 7-year-old brindle pit bull is back home after an ordeal that took him far from home and left him with a gunshot wound.

Lawrence Sandoval is Brutus’ owner.

Sandoval said he put Brutus with another one of the family’s dogs in an insulated dog house in the backyard of his Whiteside home in Lincoln County, on Saturday. He said the next morning Brutus was gone.

  1. And no thought about what Brutus was doing to get shot? In the past I've taken in and kept dogs that someone dumped and had good luck with them. One however started killing pigs shortly after and he got shot and buried. A week later a granny type with a station wagon load of kids stopped and asked if we had seen a dog. I told her we had and why we shot him and she told me that he was killing their pigs so they dumped him. Stupid people.

  3. When asked about the night out the dog said, you should have seen the other dog.

  4. A pitbull named Brutus. Then runs off and gets shot. Some say it was only a question of time.
