PARIS, Ky. (WKYT) - Those who work at Paris Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) say it’s not uncommon for a sad story to pass through their doors in the form of a stray or mistreated animal. But for a young pitbull mix named Lynch, PAWS has become a home for much of his life.
“Lynch first came to us back in 2023 as a stray, he started out with us as a puppy pretty much,” said Dana Herrington with PAWS.
Lynch was reclaimed by his owner in 2023, “and then again in 2024, he was brought back in as a stray.”
Disgusting. Hurts my heart to see any pup treated like that. We rescued a pit/boxer mix a few months ago, and he was heading towards what that little fella looked like. Not out of meanness - just dumbness. They had too many mouths to feed, he and his siblings were last in line. He has since doubled his weight and is a happy boy!
ReplyDeletefucking people...
ReplyDeleteI have 4 dogs and plenty of room, but I can't afford any more, or I'd have more. However, I do have a solution for the sociopathic, low life, cretins that abuse animals...
ReplyDeleteWe dogsit a pit mix rescued by our son and DIL, and he can be a handful. He was found on the streets of San Antonio at approximately 3 years old and has lifelong trust issues that make it difficult to have people around who he does not know well. Flat-out HATES children. It really makes me wonder what all he suffered in those 3 years.
ReplyDeleteHad a whole career dealing with folks that were strangers to "good decision making". Couldn't take care of themselves let alone their children and they'd get a dog or cat. We could get the kids out.
ReplyDeleteIf you’ve ever seen a pit lose it, you wouldn’t want one around your kids. Not in my world but to each his own. Research dog attacks by breed. Then maybe deaths by dog attacks by breed.
ReplyDeleteWhat do your own fears have to do with this story?
