Commentary: Democrats Can’t Bully Their Way to a ‘Free Pass’

I believe in restraint, tradition, decorum, and the precepts of our system of criminal justice: deterrence, punishment, and retribution. Turning the other cheek accomplishes none of these. Joe Biden’s last-minute pardons for his family, and his unprecedented preemptive pardons for members and staff of the January 6 Committee, Anthony Fauci, and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mike Milley, underscore the necessity for Congress and Donald Trump’s Justice Department to perform their duties to investigate crime.

  2. yeah, drag every last one of the bastards in and make them "talk". if they refuse to do so, throw the book at their ass. if nothing else, print out everything they have done that was illegal. if we don't find them on anything else, let the "people" know just what all they got away with. and another thing, isn't it about time we found out how all the clowns in congress get so rich ? let see some bank statements and find out where they are getting "their money " from ? it hard to watch/read the "news' these days and not want to find a good roof top to shoot from at these assholes.

  4. Now that they have been pardoned for their crimes, the 5th Amendment no longer applies. They are required to answer. If they refuse, then it is contempt. If they lie, then charge them with giving false testimony. After they testify, make public their confession for the people to see. Then turn everything over to the respective state AG’s for prosecution under state law. Should Congess fail to do this, then they are no better than the scum who were pardoned!

    1. Exactly. A "Pardon" is a piece of paper. It's not bullet proof. It can be destroyed in a fire, or a boating accident. And it, and its holder/recipient, are still subject to the laws of physics. Just sayin'.

  7. Milley, I believe, is in a different "category" because he's subject to the UCMJ. Recall his traitorous ass to active duty, then strip him of rank, take his pension and benefits, court martial him, and let him feel fortunate that he isn't tried for treason... "called my counterpart in the CCP...". Traitorous cocksucker should be offered the choice of a rope, or eating his service pistol - I'm sure he has a nice, fancy, and tasty one.
