  1. yup. damn near every dog I ever had did this to me as well. it like getting down on the ground is some sort of sign to them that you want to play. the worse or best at doing that was old jack. he would crawl under the truck just find out what I was doing I think ?
and Slim wanted to lay on my chest ? yup, all 110 pounds of his ass.
after my back surgery was done, the wife was worried he might hurt me after being gone for 2 days. but he didn't , he just kind of stay by me watching and when I sat down. he put his head in my lap and stared at me. for about 2 weeks or so afterwards, he never let me out of his sight. yeah, he would "break in" the bathroom even. I think he was making sure I was okay. he was a very good dog. getting dusty in here. dave in pa.

  4. He's lucky if that puppy doesn't pee on him in the pup's excitement. I miss having a pup but I'll settle for the nine year old Husky/German Shepard girl that's my best buddy. Always ready to go for a ride in the pickup and has the give me treats begging stance down to a fine art.

  6. My lot do this, the smallest and oldest spaniel will lie down wedged tight beside me, 10 seconds later she's fast asleep and snoring.

  10. I cant do anything on the floor without our old dog wanting to cuddle with me. He'll start off licking but will throw himself under me if i'm on hands and knees or just wiggle into my arms if I'm completely down. He's 25 pounds of sweety, unless the subject is food, then he reverts to the street dog that had to to fight to get and keep his food.
