14) Has anyone tested the Flex Steel glue they show on TV to see if it will stick to the no stick copper pans they show on TV? One or the other is wrong.
Get a good cast iron pan. If you want to save some money, get a cheap one and smooth out the inside with a sanding disk. Then season the pan by putting cooking oil in it and placing it in a 350 degree oven for about an hour. Nothing will stick after that.
Copper's really only good for some specialty cooking where you need really fast temperature control - copper heats up and cools down fast and that the only thing it has to recommend it as cookware.
I literally spent $135 on a pan last month because every other pan I had looked worse than the above. And, as you can imagine, the bitchin' every time I tried to fry eggs... No more, suckas, no more.
Learn how to fry an egg. A light coating of oil, heat the pan until the oil is just about smoking, then put you eggs in. They should not stick. Give it a try. This method works unless you're making omelets. They require more oil and a different cooking temp. A good stainless or cast iron fry pan is a must.
#20 that's funny I don't care who you are.
ReplyDeleteJD Vance needs to use that at an opener at first Cabinet meeting.

ReplyDelete#14- I just threw out a pan almost exactly like this one, copper and everything. They are great for about 6 months, then they are the worst.
