  3. Sounds like illegal visitors, "doing a job that most americans won't do."

  4. Had to laugh. At the end of the article:

"If you are experiencing suicidal, substance use or other mental health crises please call or text the new three-digit code at 988. You will reach a trained crisis counselor for free, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also go to 988lifeline.org."

Suicide by cop while taking a couple with you?

  5. These must have the Keystone Kops of the Charlie Chaplin era. How stupid do you have to be, to line up like bowling pins to get shot by a whack job in an apartment. When you see the fist cop go down ... you are supposed to take cover.

  7. After the second shot methinks that a hand grenade would be in order.

    1. Yep. I can see the first responder getting shot; risk goes with the job. BUT, unless he was incapacitated, he should have gotten the word out. Number two, well, maybe right behind, so little to no notice. By the third arrival there should have been better situational awareness and a way more cautious approach.

  8. The funny thing is that Stone Oak is a nice northside part of town. Wild gunfights over on the west side usually don't even make the news.
