#19 At the hospital yesterday they put a wristband on my mom's wrist. Every time a nurse or whoever walked by they scanned the band. I'm expecting a bill for every employee at the hospital.
There is some question as to whether a full reservoir in the Palisades would have made much difference because residential fire systems are not designed to cope with big wildfires but small residential ones limited to one or two buildings (just look at how big warehouse/industrial fires are hard to stop). Perhaps the best option would have been to position units in the most at-risk areas to try to catch any fire before it got too big for the system to handle but that would have been intelligent and we're talking Democrats in charge here.
