Basement dweller kills slutty stingy mom

A 46-year-old man in Illinois is facing several decades behind bars for killing his own mother, strangling her with a bungee cord in her bed after she returned from a date because he’d “had enough of her sleeping around” and “not giving him money.”

  1. Sometimes I wonder about these women keeping their adult boys at home. Is this some dominance over men shit? At one time I thought mommy's boy. I'm leaving that thought behind the more I hear about mothers keeping adult men, who are their sons, in their homes. I think both of them are assholes.

  5. He's 46. Mom is 60. You do the math.

    1. Doesn't specify if his age of 46 is now or when he committed the murder which was 2 years ago. So she could have been 16 when she had him instead of 14.

  8. Can you blame him? 60-year-old mom was getting her ashes hauled and he wasn't

  9. From news story: A crime lab technician reportedly testified that DNA found on the bungee cord and beneath Caraker’s fingernails came back as a match for the man she had been on a date with, not Howard.

    1. In the preceding paragraph, the defense attorney complained that investigators didn't get a DNA sample from the man she had been dating. Kinda hard to match a sample left at the scene to a not collected sample from someone else.
