California lawmakers brace for budget uncertainty now that President Trump is in office

California lawmakers on Monday attempted to begin the process of analyzing Gov. Gavin Newsom's proposed state spending plan but acknowledged now with President Donald Trump in office, the picture could look completely different in a matter of months.

  3. Why would what they like to say the 5th largest economy be thrown into uncertainty because of who is the president?
    Could it be that the state budget heavily relies upon federal dollars?

  5. Didn't we just see earlier this week they have 50 million dollars sitting around to fight the American people..
    I suggest they start budgeting that 50 million to better purposes

  6. Picked up 500 rounds of 9 at Sportsmans (the last outpost) yesterday that I prepaid online (great sale). Last order of business was cough up $1 for the background check.
    I said, yep one for the governor, cashier said, yeah newsom... I said fuck that guy I'm done being nice and cashier said I'm with ya, friend.
