Commentary: Trump’s Executive Orders Are Taking a Massive Chunk Out of the Censorship State

President Donald Trump has hit the ground running, issuing a flurry of executive orders. Two of them are particularly welcome.

The first, “Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship,” mandates agencies across the government cease funding and end any activities that would “unconstitutionally abridge the free speech of any American citizen.” The other, “Ending the Weaponization of the Federal Government,” requires agencies “to identify and take appropriate action to correct past misconduct by the Federal Government related to the weaponization of law enforcement and the weaponization of the Intelligence Community.”

  5. These Executive Orders are great and timely. Problem is another stroke of a pen and they are gone. These need the Congress and Senate to pass them then the President to sign them into law. I have a nagging in the back of my mind that says the Congress and Senate will not man up with needed change.

    1. You beat me to it on the passed into law. Not that any of those kinds of laws actually need to be passed. The Constitutional violations by Google, Facefook and the .gov employees that spurred them on to censorship need to be prosecuted with the same zeal .gov censors used in controlling speech using their big tech contacts.

Lengthy prison sentences need to be meeted out.

I'm not talking about the small fry censors. I'm talking about Zuckerberg, Dorsey and Pichai Sundararajan. These three people need to spend the rest of their lives IN JAIL. That's the only way these pukes will understand the magnitude of their perfidy and so that the message is clear and understood by everyone else in the country.

As an aside, the name Zuckerberg isn't in the Firefox dictionary. I wonder how THAT happened.
