The U.S. Constitution does not grant any human rights at all, and such rights are not dependent upon it, or any of the Bill of Rights. Legitimate human rights are the product of the bedrock principle of self ownership - you own your own life. All human rights proceed from this, including the right to self defense, which results in the right to keep and bear arms.
The Constitution grants powers to the government. It also forbids the government from infringing upon these human rights, which are partially enumerated in the Bill of Rights.
If the 2nd Amendment went away, the right to own a gun would still exist as a consequence of the right of self ownership.

I am not all that far from the Sheetz station where old Joe was yelled "fuck you" at to his face. and the fact that it is winter time and people are buying heating oil and gas like every 2 weeks or so. so, yeah. they just might be mad enough at those assholes. dave in pa.
