  1. All that's missing are the red 'fragile' stickers.

  3. UPS/ FedEx these days suck!
They used to bring package to front door and knock. Then it became just leaving the package at front door. Now, they don't even get signatures when required.

I live on a corner lot. Garage on one side, porch on the other. These guys are too lazy to walk 30 feet to the porch to drop package off - they'll leave it leaning against the garage door, even in the rain. Amazon at least will leave it at front door.

I also live in a neighborhood with thin streets, 15 mph limit. Both companies fly thru here at 30mph + easy. They, like many others, just don't give a shit anymore...

  4. The drivers are imported and under a hard clock. Jeff is saving up for a set of balls.

    1. Move out of the big city. All of our drivers around here are Americans.

    2. I don't get FedEx deliveries so I can't speak on them but my UPS driver is definitely a local guy that puts my packages along my fence gate and knocks to let me know he was there.. He would put it at my door but my dog is inside the fence, Boo probably wouldn't do anything but I don't want to take the chance

    3. Boo? I had a cat named Boo. Meanest cat I ever had. When she got tired of being held or petted she'd bite down hard as she could on your hand.

His name is Boudreaux but I usually just call him Boo unless I have to get his attention quickly

  5. FedEx is the worst around here. One time, the driver left the package out at the end of our driveway in the planter that holds the post with our address on it. Our driveway is about 150 feet long.

  6. After the snowstorm, I got the email notification that my package had been delivered.
It was leaning against the side of the door at an odd angle.
Since the snow had just stopped and I hadn't had time to clear the walkway the footprints of the delivery person came up to about ten feet from the house and stopped. That's where they tossed it from.
Fortunately it was a book. They, at least, had the brains to wait until the package came to rest before they took the picture.

  8. At least FedEx and UPS can find your house. DHL is the reason for my first meetings with various neighbors. It's gotten a little better since they can find the Post Office and the Post Office knows where I live.

  9. Had all that. Text from someone 6! miles away, your package is on our front porch. No name delivery service Temu or Wish uses. UPS email, pkg delivered. No sign of it. Costco. Costco replaces. UPS guy shows up with BOTH pkgs, says he left it @ 1993, not 1983. Twofer. UPS again. Ordered a rifle and 1200 rounds of ammo. Sig needed. I reroute to UPS store, cuz firearms. I come home 1:00 AM arsenal on my front step.
    I have more....

  10. Last Fall the USPS left a box of silver coins at the end of my driveway leaned against the barbed-wire fence. I checked off all the boxes that it was to be put on my front porch if nobody home. I got lucky that nobody stole that box.
