How do you drown on a beach?
Off the top of my head...Go for a swim, get caught in a rip current and pulled out to sea, wash up on shore. "Homeless", thus quite likely a drinker or doper or both. Pass out on the sand when the tide is out, tide comes in, you die. Shell
I watched the pd pull a body onshore in Gulf Shores some years back and he would have wound up on the beach. Waves I think they call them.
