The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) is warning Americans about traveling to the United Kingdom amid reports that the country’s leftist government can now prosecute them for social media posts—even if they were written while in the U.S.

Well, so much for my dream trip to eat bland food.
Sounds like a challenge...
ReplyDeleteWell with England, Great Britain or whatever they want to be called, going after Apple over backdoor access into cloud storage and encryption it seems like bad food is the least of their problems...

Sounds like Europe is ready for revolution - the only way the cancerous left can be removed over there as far as I am concerned. The western European countries are becoming Nazi Germany/ Communist Russia 2.0. This day and age, I would not dare set foot out of the US.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see Trump admin continue to criticize European leaders - perhaps that might encourage their populations to step up...
It would be funny if it wasn't so serious. Most of Europe has turned into the fascists they decry. They're so poorly educated -- or maybe miseducated -- that they believe people restricting the power of the bureaucracy are fascists.
ReplyDeleteI know lots of english who fled to canada a couple decades ago. All that did was delay the inevitable.
ReplyDeleteExile1981
That explains the shithole canadastan has become...
DeleteI thought about this a couple weeks ago. Someone knocking on my door from the UN saying the communist running UK was an arrest warrant for me.
ReplyDeleteWell Mr UN let me introduce you to Mr 2nd Amendment...

Have ya ever seen a gas-operated shoulder fired weapon before, limey? Have a look at THIS! :)
DeleteThey won't revolt. All the ones who didn't want to be peasants already left.
ReplyDeleteCorecto Mundo, Richard. The peasants will continue to be happy with the meager crumbs their government masters toss them. I can't wait till the Limeys come under Sharia law and they find the government is behind the whole thing.
DeleteI call it the country where Great Britain used to be.
ReplyDeleteWas thinking about spending a few weeks in Europe last September. This kind of shit made the wife say NO. NYC is still on her naughty list until the immigration situation levels out.
ReplyDeleteSmart woman

New a good ol boy that visited England. He said ya couldn't eat the food. He said it was terrible. After a while he realized there was a Kaintucy Fried Chickin rite across the road from his hotel. He ate there during his entire stay. When Kentucky Fried is better than the local crusine, there is a problem.
ReplyDeleteAll the blood and treasure spent saving the Brits a century ago and this is what they willingly embraced. What a waste. Should have let Hitler have them.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay, I'll just claim asylum and they'll give me a house and monthly stipend. Prase be to alan and his snackbar!
ReplyDeleteWhat is Keir Starmer's email address?
ReplyDeleteI last visited England in '72 and have never felt the urge to go back. I was supposed to have a 2-day rest in London on my way home from India in '96, but canceled it at the Delhi airport and just connected on to DC and went home.
ReplyDeleteI went there in 1980 because I was bored shitless and had time to waste, so I hopped a Space A flight.
DeleteThe people were friendly as hell and I had a good time with them, but the food left a little to be desired.
The one that I can't understand is Germany. They claim that AfD is a neo Nazi organization, yet AfD is one of the few political parties that are against importing folks who thought Hitler went easy on the Jews.
ReplyDeleteI spent 11 years in Germany and I don't even pretend to understand the German political system or the parties.
DeleteThis what happens after the various governments in the EU took firearms from their citizens. The governments there do not fear the citizens and the citizens have no way of fighting back except at the ballot box or general strikes which solve nothing.
ReplyDeleteGermany just had an election in which two conservative parties won the majority. However, the guy expected to be Prime Minister, whose party won the larger percentage of the vote, is ALREADY backtracking on campaign promises to do what DOGE is doing here.
It's no surprise that all these governments are trying their best to kill free speech and outlaw government criticism. Its what they do.

Well then, allow me to throw down the gauntlet... Mr. Starmer, et al. kommisars in Britain, I've visited there for the absolute LAST time, and what I found was a Muslim-infested London where one couldn't avoid the most God-awful body odor and sneering looks. Don't these people EVER bathe? Or has English civilization not been able to impart that custom to them? The land that gave us Shakespeare, the Magna Carta, Sir Edward Elgar, Ralph Vaughn Williams, and Tolkien has devolved into a Third World shithole. Congratulations on your "cultural enrichment."
ReplyDeleteSo go ahead, issue an arrest warrant for me... name and address will be provided upon request of His Majesty's government. I'll be waiting.
Those limeys faggots couldn't PAY me to visit their dumpy little shithole of an island nation. I mean, at least not without artillery, air support and a mission to slaughter a whole bunch more wannabe tyrants. If that's the case, count me in. "great britain my ass, Lesser britain is more appropriate, nowadays. Maybe they can set up beach defenses and turn us away with the dull sporks their government still allows them to possess. I like our odds.
ReplyDeleteWell, you can just fuck off. We don't want the likes of you here.
DeleteStayed in the Bayswater/ Hyde park area of London for 6 days at the end of July. Excellent food, great people. Done all the tourist traps in and around London. Side trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Never once felt threatened.
ReplyDeleteLOL I double dog dare them to try that bushwa with Trump as President. The "Special Relationship" will be severely tested.
ReplyDeleteShell
There are plenty of places right here in the USA that we haven't seen, and even more to see again.
ReplyDeleteUK can collectivistly (sp.) sit atop Big Ben & rotate if they think this attitude is going to get the US tourist $$$.
