While working on a drilling rig 180 something miles offshore in the Gulf of America, lol, we noticed an alligator swimming around the rig.. We had some pretty bad weather for a couple of days and I suppose it was taken out by the current and seas... Alligators are fresh water reptiles so it wasn't going to live long in it's situation. . Shy of getting the crane operator to lower us in the cargo net there was no way to get to it so no alligator sauce piquant for us JD..
