Who leaves valuables laying around when there's a stranger in the house?

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Glenn Richards, 52, of Bloomfield Township, was arrested after police said he stole a 14K gold rope chain from a statue that was inside a woman’s bathroom while doing floor repair.

  1. People are weird, when I was doing repairs on rentals, usually they were empty but sometimes I had to go into
occupied apartments while the tenant was at work.. We would set up a date to go in and a notice was given... Please pick up any and all valuables.. Most times everything was left out in plain sight .. Lots of pictures would be taken and a walk through with the property manager before and after JIC

    1. Did a walk through once with a code inspector. There were sex toys laying about. The inspector nearly puked. The tenant had called code on me over a window. I just happened to be at the building when the inspector arrived.

    2. I was doing a job for a customer that had mostly college students as tenants due to it's location close to a local state college... There was "toys" left out when I did the job.. A few days later I'm back working in a different apartment when the girl that lived in the other one sees me.. Are you the guy that fixed my shower a cute little 18 or so year old girl asks me. Yes I am, how's the new shower head, I put in a new rain maker, working out for you I ask.. It's ok but I mostly love the new handheld you put in.. I had to bite my tongue and just smile at her... Dude
